How to cook A BIG, JUICY mouth-watering BURGER stuffed with cheese, bacon, onions!...yeah.

What you're gonna need...
4 Strips of Bacon, cut into small pieces (& of course, 1-2 for snacking!) I used Turkey Bacon that was left from breakfast that morning...and to try and make it a tad bit healthier!
½ Onion, thinly diced
3/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Pound Ground Beef
1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
Salt and pepper
2 Tbs. Olive Oil, more if necessary
4 Large Hamburger Buns
And whatever toppings you like!
Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat, when hot add the bacon and cook 4-5 minutes or until crispy. When done, take out of skillet and put onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain and cool, but keeping the bacon fat in the skillet.
While the bacon is cooking, slice the onion and to the same skillet the bacon cooked in, add the onion with a pinch of pepper. Cook in the bacon fat for about 5 minutes until tender. When done, take out of skillet and place onto plate with bacon and let cool.
In a bowl, combine the beef, garlic powder and a big pinch of salt and pepper. Mix together and then separate the meat into 4 equal portions and then divide each portion into 2 separate patties.
When the bacon and onion are cooled put into a small bowl, add in the cheese and mix together.
Taking one section of the divided meat at a time, form into a patty in the palm of your hand and put a spoonful (about a tablespoon) of the cheese mixture in the middle of the patty
Take the other section of the meat and place on top, forming into patties, making sure all sides are sealed and the filling is completely covered
No grill? No worries! Just heat 2 Tbs. olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot add the burgers, cooking 4-5 minutes on each side for medium done.
When burgers are done, take out of skillet and let rest for about 5 minutes to let the juices redistribute and settle inside the burger. If you cut into it too quickly, all the yummy liquid spills out and you lose that great, juicy flavor.
Place each burger on a bun and top with toppings of your choice and enjoy the stuffed surprise!!!
