Duncanville City Council Meeting April 7, 2009

Just prior to these moments here, Mr. Ford started speaking about something the mayor said earlier during the briefing (also open to the public), something about how a council member should act during a meeting. During the briefing, the mayor talked about how Mr. Ford has been disruptive, and said if there are any other outbursts, he (the mayor) will have the council member removed. So, during the Council Meeting proper, Mr. Ford reiterated what the mayor had said during the briefing. The Mayor responded that Mr. Ford was out of order, then asked the city manager to ask Mr. Ford to leave the chamber. That's where this video picks up. I was there. The video does not show the precursor. The guy that got drug out was being an ass the entire time. He was asked to stop interrupting and carry on with the meeting so many times he should have been beat. Someone please post the entire video and not what they want people to see.

OK fair point I did not get the 30 seconds of Mr ford speaking off topic, so I guess I did not get the whole story. But I also did not get the "Pro Dunkers" who got up and took pictures of Paul getting lifted by the cops to be used in a mail out against him. Or how some of them quietly cheered when it happened. Also how is speaking off topic about something the mayor said in the briefing acting like an ass, and why should someone be beat because of it?

Mayor David Green is a Public Figure! The key word is "Public" Legally speaking he may as well stand on a street corner and advertise that he is a control freak! This is America and we have laws of a Democracy. The Councilman was wrongfully removed. The council should have called a vote for his removal then at that point be removed. The Mayor does not have the bono to do what he did and the Police officers committed a false arrest. A Major lawsuit against the police and Mayor,.will suffice.
