He's a Swiss artist who suffers from night terrors, from which he gets the images he paints. Of course, he designed the alien spaceship and the creature in the first "Alien" movie. There is a Giger bar in Switzerland made to look like the world in his paintings. And, of course, you can find plenty of his paintings and some bio info on many websites. Thanks for asking.

I understand what you mean. Giger plumbs the depths of human psyche, often turning up disturbing things, but he does it probably better than anyone else. I hope you "enjoyed" the music I selected to complement the mood of his work.

Is that the music from starcraft?

That's correct. I used a few portions of the music from one of the trailers for Starcraft II, and slowed them down somewhat.

Very nice selection of music for this. The mechanical sounds compliment Giger's work very well I think. It is interesting; his ability to morph organic with mechanical.

There is something about his work that makes me feel a bit ill at times. But no ones art has impressed me as much as his has.
