  • The board members looks like they are thinkin' "What the hey-all are you talking about biatch, you just like hearing yourself talk?!?!" Give your community support, don't take cheap shots at these board members for your 15 minutes of not really being famous.

  • Was talking about this with a friend the other day and they said it was like watching the patients being in charge of the nut house, with the lead nut dressed in a white bunny suit with a Kangol cap 'repping the ka-mun-u-ty. Lord have mercy!!! Glad the parade was MOVED! Yes lord!!! Maybe now I will go!

  • mr phillips is awesome

  • This is embarrasing. Is this the village idiot. Come On People, let's wake up. What is this nut saying about the fights, the shootings, the May Day Parade 2008 videos? Check out the videos with one mother's child laying across the MetroLink railroad tracks. Is this why Martin Luther King fought? Is this why Rosa Parks sat down on the bus. Wake up people, wake up. To answer bubbrubblep's question...this Alderperson has to be the village idiot. Why not fight about something of substance!!!

  • Why is the Alderwoman dressed like an idiot? How can you be taken seriously if you talk in circles and dress like a snowman?

  • I don't understand it neither. People in this city have the strangest tendencies to FUCK UP TRADITION! Especially if it's BLACK tradtition!

  • It made me sad to see May Day (what we call the Annie Malone parade) moved out of the traditional route in St. Louis's black neighborhoods to a more sterilized, PR friendly one downtown.
