  • @psycofoxxx thats one way of looking at it, and some people would say its the best way. but you can also see it as d dorian-eb dorian-d dorian- eb dorian or phrygian on each chord or natural minor, or any mode that starts on a minor 7, you could even do A phrygian- c dorian- d minor- f phrygian.

  • Great backing track, I love the part where it goes double time when the second Am7 comes around. So much fun to jam to!

  • Very nice. Wish it was a bit longer, though!

  • @HiImJerry8 the intervals are going to clash, so as long you are aware of where the b5 intervals occur and don't hang on them too long you should get away with it but i wouldnt over use it in this context.

  • @TomRichardson92 oh dont be so rigid, just change it to a natural 5 and youre all set

  • @HiImJerry8 there are only 3 pentatonics in each key not 4, locrian isn't one as it has b5 interval whereas a normal pentatonic has a regular 5th interval.

  • @HiImJerry8

yeah, but i prefer not to go into pentatonic actually. i can take any mode i know of and find the pentatoinc version of it, but i prefer more powerful sounding things.

  • @GoodMetalFTW nah, you know what you should do, take the dorian mode of the key youre in, there you got a minor pentatonic scale, the phrygian mode has another minor pentatonic scale, the aeolian as you may know has another one and the locrian mode has another one, there, you got four minor pentatonic scales, with that you cant get really cool sounds
