  • Kai, could you please comment on the tuning and the sound setup for the Ziggy?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @karli34 the tuning I use is treble side, low C# to a high D in 4ths. Bass side low B to a high C all in 4ths as well. For this particular show, the instrument itself was in mono mode, I prefer stereo mode, but I didn't have enough inputs left in my small mixer. The treble side has a GK pick up which I used, that went to a V-BASS 99, that is how I got the two regions to sound different. I hope that answers your question!

  • Fantastic playing, Kai. You're a real inspiration to me. It's rare to hear such great musicality in touchstyle playing, with groove and a bass part doesn't just sound like its on autopilot. I use a similar tuning, uncrossed but in parallel fourths like Jim Wright. Just gotta keep on practicing. Anyway, keep the videos coming, mate!

  • @kaikurosawa Thanks for the fast and helpful reply!

  • Nice job Charlie.

  • Man, I really enjoy watching and hearing your creative music :)

    Rock on!!
