  • What year was this video done?

  • @HarryPotter573 2007, June to be precise

  • Didn't Flying Soctsman have a cowcatcher and TWO tenders once?

  • She did indeed, for a trip round the USA which bankrupted its then owner, Alan peglar, and there was a real fear the engine might not return to the UK. FOrtunately, she has

  • I know she did. I've seen vids of her in the UK. BTW when was her trip in the USA?

  • Early to mid 1970s I believe

  • @supergamerbros Not as nice as these. They don't seem to have any beauty. It's all about practicality, no style or grace to them at all. I only can tolerate the 2-6-0s of America myself.

  • American engines are nice, and cool looking. They're not silly.

  • Great video of some fantastic engines!

By the way do they have corridor stock carriages on the Bluebell as well as the standard class stock?

  • brino the railway was invented in Britain so all American and Canadian engines are from the roots of our engines......
