@contrastej I use to collect motors from Radio Shack back in the 90's and no of them mirrored the look of those small twin gear motors found in those Stomper/Rough Rider Toys.Try EBAY or try locating an Import Toy Hobbyist.
@contrastej Just take them apart and clean all contacts with emery cloth or sandpaper. If that doesn't help, heat up all solder points with a soldering iron. This will get those motors working. I just did this today with three stomper trucks from the early 80's. Worked on all of them.
in 1981 and 1982, while living in the U.S., my dad bought me a couple of rough riders, a brown Corvette and a black Trailer truck. some 30 years later, mi little girls found them!. Infortunately, the litlte electric motors no longer work. Does somebody know were to find such motors?
Rough Riders Army Force! They can go anywhere (Just like the Army) AND they can do wheelies! Cause we all know the Army alway's does wheelies in their Hummers & Jeeps, right?
I remember getting one of these when I was bout 6
