Thanks for the post. sounds like it was a great concert. Wondering if Dylan played his guitar much that night because I read somewhere in '95 he had had the flu & did most of a concert without his guitar. I do remember Winston was the drummer.
I wish he still had "Winnie" at the drums.

It took till the 3rd nite of brixton to get the first (almost) decent version of this song on the tour. How come on the previous nights there was some compulsory cockup with lowering of the sound within the first few secs to the point of near inaudibility?

Bob always looks awkward when he doesn't have a guitar.
The harmonica helps him towards the end, but he seems a bit exposed and unsure what to do with his hands.

I love this video w/Bob opening the show out front sans guitar rockin' w/his shuffle groove and a fine harp solo to bring it all home. Thanks for layin' it out there. FKF

no problem! this is one of my favourite dylan performances also! but i also think of the hundreds of unrecorded fantastic shows we must have missed!
