On Friday, July 6th, 2001, the world was introduced to 'THE VILLIKON CHRONICLES' with an official launch party at VIRGIN MEGASTORE. The event rivaled contemporary book signings as creator Bryan J. Kinnaird and artist Roy Young took to the stage to promote sci-fi's newest and greatest franchise. With all the grandeur of a classic rock opera that included a cast of character models, a squad of costumed Sentinel Commandos and two house bands - the signing shook the foundation of the sales floor for throngs of attendees and smashed a sales record for purchased graphic novels, which was held up until that time by SPAWN creator Todd McFarlane, according to the store's buying manager. The first 72-page issue of THE VILLIKON CHRONICLES: ASCENSION OF THE EXPATRIATES re-inaugurated the hopes of fulfilling the projects' original intention of being produced as a film...
WTH are you hiding...this should be promoted better on YOUTUBE every film making comic book blog...I stumbled here this is great!!! Wow 2001 so is this finished...never heard about but I would have dug it if I had. Okay thanks for posting!!!!
