  • @tcbink That's some idiot law, I can't imagine that it would be illegal to collect water from the sky. I would break that law, even if I would end up in jail.

That law is the real crime !!!

  • Line the streets with berry bushes and fruit trees!

  • That is very interesting. Never thought of that this way. That looks so much nicer that way. Lawns are such a waste of space.

  • Love the chickens... would love to get my wife on board with the chickens at our house.

She thinks it is being a hill billy to have chickens.

  • A mini-orchard?! I love it!

  • That was an awesome video, very professional done. You need a spot on HDTV. Thanks for sharing those great ideas. Now I don't know about the chickens, but the concept is great. God bless you in Jesus name.

  • How, where do you purchase edible flowers?

  • @propergait When I lived in Colorado I lived upstream from Coors and we couldn't collect rain water because Coors said it was their water and had a law passed. Now I live in Kansas and the city owns the utility company and passed these laws about rain and gray water, also we are not allowed to have windmill generators. You would think that would be a conflict of interest and illegal.

  • whoo hoo. any where you live get rid of the grass!!!!

  • Thanks Patty! More people need to be introduced to this concept.

  • @tcbink

How shocking that any place would outlaw rain collection. Could it be their laws are created by local utilities?
