What a shame this show had such a short life on TV. Being a fan of Nero Wolfe I was thrilled when I saw the Golden Spiders. I knew then that Maury and Tim were perfectly fit for playing the part of Wolfe and Archie. They both matched what I thought they would look and sound like. Timothy Hutton is the icing on the cake ... All I can say is go buy the entire series and like the books ( I do read often) watch 'em over and over again! RIP Maury.

OMG when Archie suddenly grabbed his legs and started dragging him out I almost peed in my seat...it was soooo funny. I never thought Tim Hutton could do menacing and charming at the same time, but boy is he good. AMAZING

I've read where people say, when asked which fictional characters they'd like to have dinner with, that Nero Wolfe is often on the list. As good as the food would be, I would rather have an evening out with dinner/drinks/dancing with Archie. What a charming man.
