Performed badly as in acting?? If so then no, I though all the actors did an excellent job, I personally though Chun improved a lot but it was actually Charlene that shine in the movie. Hu Ge never fail to amazed me with his acting. The movie was quite good for me, but then everyone have different taste so yea.

dont know why there are so many negative views on butterfly lovers but i really loved the movie. i even bought the dvd LOL. ah sa and wu zun great chemistry

The movie was very mediocre, and this isn't meant in offense at all.

I absolutely adore Wu Zun and Hu Ge, and I think they're superb at singing/acting... Charlene's also quite cute and they all obviously worked very hard.

I hate to see an end result that did not shine out their talents well and discredits their efforts, but that's exactly what I saw in the movie.  Sad.
