ok... watch the fret lines closer (check the intonation/bridge; set 12th and 17th fret pitches harmonics and pressed using a piece of metal or glass slide and adjust bridge accordingly)... kinda wierd pitch at times!.. fat groove; nice pocket (drummer very solid!!) ; cool tones keys and sax/ewi; real nice band. keep on keepin on

You're right, it's effectively a Lipstick Red Fender "Boner" P-Bass Plus converted into a fretless bass. The 22 frets were removed and replaced by 22 inlaid white fretline markers. The dark rosewood fingerboard is coated with epoxy.
This bass uses Lace Sensors and is strung with flatwounds.
