UFO: Catskills, NY

We have been seeing this object in the sky on random days for the past 2 weeks. It usually appears between 7-9:00PM and was filmed NW over the Catskill Mountains. If you listen carefully, in the video you will hear me say I am not using the zoom button, and at that time, it morphs itself. Quite spectacular to see. Let me know your thoughts/feedback. I have more footage I plan on posting too.

Seen a similar effect of the line across the top of a bright object due to the focus and exposure of video cameras. Not sure what causes this. Since you aren't touching any buttons, this may be your camera trying to focus. Was the object moving toward you and away? That would make things even more difficult for the camera. Please keep on sending more!

Yes, it was moving farther away then closer. I believe the line is from lens flare or whatever, but it def. is something that is changing colors & shape. Check out my latest video too

I know, that's what my husband felt/thought too. And, when we had some skeptics over to show them, it did nothing but look like a ordinary star. needless to say, they weren't convinced, but we are!

Did this object make any noise at all? The one I saw back in the summer of 87 was totally silent! It moved in a way that no aircraft could possibly move and it didn't make a sound!

I saw something very similar to this object back in 1987 in Greene County on Route 35 before it intersects with Rt 41. At first I thought it was a star but then it began to move in a zig zag motion and it didn't make a sound! Nobody I tell here in the city believes me but I know it exists because this object looks very similar to the one I saw 25 years ago.

My husband and i have a home that sits high on the east side of town. We love the view of the west side of Catskill and the moutians! For the past few weeks we have been seeing the same thing ...just farther off in the sky and around the same time at night... really odd! to find this at random... and after so much time has passed... makes me think thats for sure
