Recorded in 1969 using a Moog modular synthesizer, here is Hans Wurman's gorgeous version of Rachmaninoff's Vocalise Opus 34 No. 14

  • Thanks SO much for posting this, I had this album on vinyl, have been looking for a CD for years. This is my favorite song on the whole album. I had hummed it for 15 years before I realized that it was meant to be a prime vocalists piece. I can never sing it without wanting that synthesizer buzz in the background, though!

  • Beautiful! I have this album. This, and his "Chopin A'la Moog". Great music. I rank Mr. Wurman up there with Wendy Carlos in great moog classics. Thanks for posting this. If only this were out on CD (hint, hint).
