I needed some time in the woods and this was one of my setups. This is in the primitive camping area of the Charles Elliott WMA. It was pretty nice and not as loud as the Oconee National Forest I went to the night before.

  • great vid faol, what are you using for a ground cloth in the video?

  • @DAV19800 That is one that I have been testing since October. We will be selling those at the Bushcraft USA store starting about the middle of January. The ones we will be selling will be camo like that tarp though.

I was a little ticked when I went to REI back in the summer to find a ground cloth, and all they had for around $20 was 20" x 72". And, it weighed over a pound. The one I am using is 5' x 7', weighs 10 oz.

  • Nice setup. You should have contacted me. Charlie Elliott is just around the corner from me. ;)

  • @charper3006 I didn't know that. Gaga (from BCUSA) and I go shooting over there on occasion.
