Tribute to my Nephew Matthew. While on patrol for missing Soldiers from his unit, the 10th Mountain division, Matthew was shot in the head by a sniper and would die from this injury May 31st, 2007.

PFC Bean, I know we most likely never crossed paths. But that does not matter...I pray that we will do so on the other side. Thank you for giving the ultimate sacrifice. Despite what many reporters say or the articles I've read...please know that this American Citizen is proud of you and those you served with. Thank you Bean family for raising an American Hero.

I am a U.S. Army soldier myself and you two are the worst examples of american citizens I have come across. You should be ashamed of yourself's. Live a day in a Combat deployed persons boots, and maybe it will turn you into a productive person. Instead of a piece of rotting trash.

Im a Marine and I served 2 In Iraq....I have seen some of my best buds get killed and been to many funerals. I can never express enough of a thank you to any of them for their sacrifice! I pray with sincere conviction that this pain becomes less and less in time. But, we who are still living are not heroes. The true Heroes are those who gave their life.
"All Gave Some, Some Gave All" I thank your nephew for his sacrifice.
