Haha, this made me laugh, well put. It's refreshing to hear someone talk reasonably on the issue. Also, I appreciate your last point the most: that although Muslims don't believe it's an oppressive garment, both can recognize and fight for the right to wear it if they choose.

Unfortunately when it comes to religion everything has been said already. There are no more original arguments, so all we can do it keep on rehashing them. I mean the "it's just a theory" argument isn't going anywhere. And why do you feel the 110 who disliked has anything to do with TAA or ZOMGItsCriss? More than likely it was people who saw the title " Sarkozy Wears a Burqa" and were mad that it wasn't a video of him wearing a burga.

Good balanced outlook. Refreshing to see an atheist view different than the 90%, typically used arguement. You covered the "security" issue which was the only thing I would've objected to, so all in all great video.

As for the 110 people who disliked this video, shame on you. I bet you're all subscribed to ZOMGItsCriss and TheAmazingAtheist. They do have some good videos but its recycled crap you can find anywhere

Haha, you are right on in this vid! He is totally not supporting a Feminist view & I'm appalled at his statement. Perhaps we should not allow people to wear crosses on their neck? How about those yam'chas...should we ban them? &if he wants to tell people why he wants to ban the burka, perhaps he should remind us all that he is partly Jewish and this is where his motive comes from...and this is my opinion (A Christian woman) before people start calling me a Muslim :)
