Americans endangered by sick-slow healthcare reform?

A new poll shows that 135,000 Americans will die before health care reform kicks in. That's more than the number of Americans who died in the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and the attacks of 9/11 combined. The study shows that it will take many years before healthcare reform kicks in and even then thousands of Americans will still have inadequate insurance. So what's going on and is the bill that's on the table right now the best solution?

theres going to be even more uninsured if the healthcare passes. Why the hell would I carry insurance if I cant be denied for a pre existing condition? I will just pay the fine (which is less than actually carrying insurance) then get insurance when I get sick. What a god damn joke
