Egejsko za dusha - Macedonian Folk Music - Ilija Ampevski

The Macedonian artist Ilija Ampevski is one of the biggest Macedonian clarinet & saxophone players from the young Macedonian generation. He's famous for his technical virtuosity, wedding music, style and improvisation. He plays with a warm tones and his particular style combines a lot of staccato techniques with legato notes.

the word "oro" means folk dance, oro is danced in a circle, with men and women holding one another by hand. Is that answering your question my friend? greetings

@Makedonier Well i guess it does... you see i have been studying specifically, romanian hora bulgarian horo and macedonian oro. I know that tale ognenovski was a great improviser. I ampevski were playing at a traditional dance, would he make up some of the music on the spot or is it all from his memory.....Thankyou for your help. Vi blagodaram

Wonderful. Both Ampevskis great show of clarinet playing and the beautiful dancing. We Macedonians have lot of culture to show and this is one proof of many.
