The liar comment and others are the truth, but it wasn't helpful to make it. Most of the delegates reacted to them with disapproval, as you can hear.
The facts are that the cards you can see held up are a second card necessary to enter on that day, which FoE had applied for and which the UN had granted.
On a whim the UN made every FoE card invalid. They didn't bother to tell FoE this, they let them find out individually at the end of the queue. This was deliberate rudeness to FoE by the UN.
yeah he was pretty reasonable from what I see. There's a fine line between being outspoken as an activist and just belligerent... can do a huge amount of discredit to the cause just screaming out something like 'liar'
Look, the 45K conference passes were issued on the assumption that not all would be in use for the entire length of COP15. You can call that "not kosher", but the fact remains that the COP15 management team did and does try to accommodate a very large number of people.
And it is disheartening to see de Boer booed and insulted when he has made such a good effort to move the national parties to COP15 to stop their nonsense and get serious about these negotiations. He is really committed.

Seems to me that Ivo de Boer guy is reasonable...
He tries to negotiate...
It's not kosher that he sold 40.000 tickets, and just can house 15.000 people in the conference, but he didnt want an empty conference too...
