BEYOND FEAR - Michael Perlman - United States, 2007 - 56:30

A 13-year-old Buddhist Nun and 20-year-old Buddhist monk lead freedom demonstrations against the Chinese occupation of Tibet. Following a brutal military crackdown, they endure horrific torture as they struggle to find a way beyond fear. Human right organizations spearhead an international effort that culminates in their release. Through the power of a positive mind, they let go of anger and even forgive their former torturers. Today, they continue to work to free their fellow prisoners and countrymen.

Une nonne bouddhiste de 13 ans, et un moine bouddhiste de 20 ans mènent des manifestations contre loccupation du Tibet par la Chine. Après une brutale répression militaire, ils endurent dhorribles tortures alors quils luttent pour trouver une voie au-delà de la peur. Des organisations des droits de lhomme conduisent un effort international qui culmine avec leur relaxe. Grâce au pouvoir dun mental positif, ils se sont libérés de la colère et ont même pardonné à leurs bourreaux. Aujourdhui, ils continuent à travailler pour libérer leurs compatriotes et amis prisonniers.
