UFO sighting July 12 2008 Northenden Manchester England.

On Saturday 12 July at 10:40pm, myself my husband and my neighbour saw 10 bright objects flying towards the front of our house. The newspaper write up had ,printed a couple of mistakes, the corrected details are as follows, they were travelling at around 80/100 MPH from West to East under the cloud base. The cloud base was approx 4000 feet. The objects were silent.By the time my husband got the video camera out, we only managed to get the tail end of the flying objects, from the rear of our house. The objects were v.bright lights & occasionally veered/crossed over. We have no idea what we saw but they were not conventional aircraft, microlights, paramotors, helicopters.When zoomed in on the flying objects, they had no wings & were of circular shape.

Those particular objects in the sky on the 12th July 2008 Northenden Manchester were in fact chinese lanterns released into the air from a wedding party bash in the area. I know this because I was there and help set the first few off. About 15 or so were released at about 10.20pm. You people shouldn't jump to fantastical conclusions so easily.

if you are very certain this was not lanterns then they are most likely to be the flame sphere ufos i had a close encounter with july last year 2009, please check my weebly site for details of what iv witnessed since last year!..

Can someone answer this for me, one night I was outside and I spotted this light in the sky it was like one of those light switches that you can twist the switch to turn the light bright and turn it down to dim it. Well anyway I saw the light in the sky it was really bright first then all of a sudden it dimed down and started moving! UFO or Statilite?

I've seen something orange like that before where I live in September last year but the thing had a flame in the middle of it...

However it could be a lantern in the sky...

i have just seen a really bright light in the sky that was moving around really fast an had a smoke trail coming from it but it was silent and shaped round this was in manchester,prestwich any help on what it might be?????

It's messed up, I keep seeing them too. I saw one the other night on my way to ASDA... i have no idea what they are but they have an odd resemblance to fireballs.
