Foreign lottery scams are becoming more popular with the growth of the internet. They are another way that thieves try to steal your identity. If you are notified that you have won a foreign lottery, beware that this could lead to identity theft.

Back in the 90's my mom got a letter in the mail from a foreign lottery that had a check attached to it. She took it to the back and they told her it was fraudulent right there on the spot.

The bank took it and mailed it to the proper authorities. Thank goodness none of those stupid tellers were working that day. Some of them can't spot fraud even if it smacks them in the face.

I remember on tv wen i saw this jokes thing u txt to to recieve a joke so i txted to it like it said at it would send them every day and i was getting pissed off so we found out i was being charged 2 bucks per day so we had to change my number! i was younger tho so !!! YOU FRICKEN HACKERS SUCK!!!! LIKE WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH!!! LOW LIVES!!!!

Nigerians are the worst scammers. If you answer to an email from Nigeria that has said you have WON (exampale)$,999,9999,999,99.99­, then don't believe it otherwise your going to be sucked in. These guys use internet cafe computers.
