@stuntout100 High horsepower isn't required to shake the engine, my truck, with it's 4L v6, not powerful by any means, can sit there and shake the whole truck when you rev it.

@stuntout100 Actually, you are the idiot if you believe any hood scoop's primary function is to "ram 'outside air' into the engine compartment". You haven't the slightest grasp of how air moves within an engine's intake tract nor could you hope to understand why the actual wave effects therein produce columns of mass and velocity that defeat weak attempts at filling the combustion space with "charged air". The notion of "Ram Air" is almost as absurd as the term horsepower.

you know what just shut da fuck up retard cause you dont see a air shaker "shaking" in any video on here...the only reason you may see the engine shaker shaking is because of the high horsepower engine with alot of torque...therefore the damb shaker is not to shake once again! iits just a damb exspensive ass 700 dollar cold air intake retard..na u chill

@stuntout100 - you need to chill. You are right, about the intention/purpose of a shaker hood, but on the flip side, it is supposed to shake, hence the name "shaker". Other wise it would be a Ram Air Hood.

I thought the point of a shaker was for it to shake when revved.
