Battletoads and double dragon-boss fight 2

Jimmy vs Blag in this one, i don't know how i did it, but i got him with a finisher move right after i threw him, is it some sort of glitch? It did take me a few tries before i could do this stunt again

The way I beat him was haging off the edge then hiting him. He never hit back

ExClUr has it right -- many Battletoad games had quirks where you could one-shot via unexpected finisher. In the NES version of Battletoads, when you beat Giblet (the rat) he gets blown up and has to fall out of the screen -- and you're allowed to hit him as he falls. I once managed to pull off a finisher move on him (which occurs to any enemy that's weak) and it KILLED him and instantly ended the stage.

This is not a glitch nor game genie. The same works on NES and Sega Genesis. It easily works on Abobo as well. The finishing move works on laying enemies, when you threw him and used run+hit instantly it was as if Blag was laying. Did that on Sega Genesis once, it's difficult to catch the right moment, though.

Sorry but this guy kinda sucks. I beat the rat without taking damage. The third boss is the tough one for me.
