05. Sheriff Wydell (Horror Heroes Top 10)

Sometimes you have to be crazy in order to stop the crazy. When trying to catch the Firefly family, who were responsible for the death of his brother, Sheriff John Wydell (played by William Forsythe) goes a little further than most sheriffs would. In Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects (2005) Wydell shows not only villains are allowed to be ruthless and use extreme violence. You wouldn't wanna be a serialkiller around this guy. John Wydell is number five on the Horror Heroes list.

And he stood out like a dogs bollocks! All the other actors were mediocre and he was just absolutely brilliant, as if he mastered his character ect.
