We have had 12 free-ranging hens for over a year. We recently added another 14 hens of a new breed. This is a four part video documenting them becoming one happy flock. They do have a period of fighting but in a remarkably short time, they established a new pecking order and now live happily as one.

  • please help how can i prevent prolapse on warrens and one of my buff chicks has a worm in his throat any tips? please help D:

  • @mattz456 We really don't know anything about these issues. If the health issues are caused by parasites poke berries that grow wild can help. If that is not available chickens can be given diatomaceous earth in their food. If you google it there are helpful sites to say the proper dosage. I hope this helps.

  • i like the video

i have small new bantam hens (nearly babirs compared to my other hens)

and i want to put them into the cage with the bigger chickens, which consists of a hen and rooster that are full sized. they peck the poor bantam hens in the head. i am afraid they will kill the new babies. WHAT DO I DO?

  • @DuctTapeWalletz You will probably have to keep them separated. With such a big difference in size, they may always treat the bantams that way.

  • when do roosters start to furtilize eggs and can they furtilize eggs in the summer not just spring time

    PS:please help me please

  • @starwars55100 They can and do fertilize any and all the time.
