U know what mate? don't ride a bike cos I guarantee you that if you fall it'll hurt a lot more than a similar accident in a car would hurt. I wear gear all the time, and full leathers when i'm going out for a serious ride, but to pretend that I am truly safe in the grand scheme of things is absolutely silly. Bimbling around in a grass field she has nothing to worry about really. I learned to ride with no helmet in a 3rd world country where usage was almost non existent and it was fine...

True, but who can guarantee that a rider won't hit something or fall off? A bike helmet is way cheaper that a CT scan at the hospital.

great job sarah , i remember the first time i rode a bike was my bro's 400 huskvanah and i gave it too much throttle and smashed into a big tree LOL
