They never should have been racing open wheel cars at Las Vegas because the track was not designed for it to be done safely.

HEY ZIPPY JUST BECAUSE SOME THING HAS ALWAYS BEEN DONE A CERTAIN WAY, DOES NOT MEAN ITS THE BEST WAY. ASK YOUR GIRL,DIPSHIT.

@workingclassmf um......indaycar started on oval's. Indycar has always run ovals.

@99Karloff These cars were going so fast they could cover the length of a football field in 1 second...You can't just brake when you makeup all that ground in a second....The only option is to drive around the accident which these skilled drivers can do..But they can't when the track is over crowded with a 34 car field...You have no place to go and the end result is what happened. That said Indy racing will always be beyond dangerous...People die racing cars..always have and always will

This was the 3rd time Tracy was in a race where somebody died including his best friend Greg Moore.

please stop running ovals. road coarses would be the best, and increased developments in aerodynamics need to be addressed. its a shame that they dumbed down the indy car class, to sell to nascar bumkins. open wheel racing has no place in barnyard style dirt track bump and run forums. maybe the loss of a legend will prompt proper race conditions for these vehicles. u wanna learn about technology/racing , then embrace f1, for it is the pinnacle of racing.
Paul is from the old school when they used to run 245 mph into T3 at Indy. When Paul says that they need to reconsider some things, you listen!

Like Paul said about the Fencing, it should really need a change. Just a shame someone has to die first before things are going to be changed. And that doesn't only happen in Motorsport.
