@randomrazr apple recommends doing this once per month. It isn't necessarily "reconditioning" but just something that will help you get the most from your battery over the long run. Apple has a great web page all about the iPhone battery, but I can't post links in YouTube comments. Next time post on the macmost forums.

ive heard u should from time to time let the iphones battery drain completly and then charge it to prolong the LIFETIME of the batter lol

@salomon009 Try restarting it -- hold down the button on the top and the home button for more than 5 seconds. If that doesn't work, then it may be a hardware problem. Have someone (Apple Store) take a look.

hello gary . i updated my 3gs and i got the new version 3.1.3 and i was using it with tmobile but now i can`t use it is lock . is posible to change version or unlock it . what can i do. thank gary

@salomon009 Im not sure what you are asking. Did you unlock your iPhone to use it with another carrier? I don't have any experience with that, so I cant help.
