  • Thanks so much for this beautiful, crisp, clean, original recording-Years ago, I bought the 4 disc "The Capitol Years" set ($40) and the song ATWM (one of my all time faves) is a poor, live version- you can see hear someone coughing in the background. Why Capitol opted to use this one instead of the original is left for guessing, I guess.

  • @Emanonik - This is from the digital re-master of the original tapes put out by the now-out-of-business Collector's Choice. I never actually got either the Capitol or Bear Family boxed sets, though I know that there are a bunch of cuts on both unavailable elsewhere. For me, the KT is the 25 major-label releases from 1958-66 - all I need, and one of the great collections in all American pop music. And you are right - this cut shows why.

  • This has been added to our playlists here, and on face=book, thank you.

  • @PoetryETrain - delighted to hear that, Poetry! You might enjoy also another of my YouTube channels, under the SN of CompVid101. There are 107 folk videos there, many of them of the Kingston Trio.

  • @duvessa2003 - the video was created by the enormously talented Tom Salter of Niagara, ONT. His YouTube channel of such videos had millions of views until YT took it down twice for copyright complaints. Too bad - as you can see here, Tom is a special kind of artist.

  • I forgot to mention - sensei48 and RoadWolf98 are the same person - me!

  • @4gabbiano -Il musica folk italiano è inoltre bello.

  • @gabbianoquattro It is one of their most beautiful songs.
