Fastest RC plane we've ever had at the field

This RC plane is by far the fastest model that I've ever seen fly at our field. Pulling over 30K RPM, the engine in this pylon racer develops about 4HP and really gets this bird moving. Believe it or not, the engine was running a little rich on this flight.

Tehehehe....when Danksy (the pilot) was a member of our club and he flew this stuff we used to hide in the clubhouse ;-)

that run on nitro fuel?

@ellerymont It runs on FAI fuel which has no nitromethane, only castor oil and methanol. The engines are tuned to run on this fuel and if you wanted to run nitromethane you'd have to reduce the compression ratio and possibly change the tuning of the pipe.
