Vigils being held at two churches closed down by the Archdioces in New Orleans were broken up when the Archdioces called in the police to force the vigil attendees to leave or be arrested. Arrests were made and citations were issued at Our Lady of Good Counsel church and at St. Henry's church. Those who want to keep the churches open said that the would not give up. The churches were closed in October in a controversial plan by Archbishop Alfred Hughes.
