@abcinstaller A public service is a government job. It is funded at the community/state level of government. Government job. Also, teachers, if they teach at public schools, are being funded, and usually at the community/state level. Government job. The Post Office is most obviously run by the government. Yes, all of these things could be privately run, but they are not. They are run by the government.

Uhmm - hey Michael - don't look now, but I think the government created your job.
And I guess Hoover dam, the national highway system, all the CCC and WPA national park works - none of those were actual jobs. Those were just people ummm working and ummm, getting paychecks - but they weren't jobs.
Pity. I thought Steele wouldn't be that dumb.
