@bart11114 Even though you criticized Feingold here, I gave you a thumbs up because you are still able to vote for the guy. I didn't like the health care bill ( I refuse to call it reform) either, but I still respect Feingold a great deal. I don't live in WI. I wish I did so I could vote for the guy. Not that he hasn't ever pissed me off... still, I respect him more than any other politician.

At what part does the government ask the people what they want?

@Melpheos1er I believe he was the ONLY senator to vote against the Patriot Act of 2001 and later in 2005 led a coalition to change the act. He also voted against going to war in Iraq. That takes balls. There are very few straight, fairly honest politicians. Feingold seems to be one of them.
