Synnott Mountain Guides is the way to go. Cheaper than what you have all mentioned. Just did my guided intro to mountaineering with them 3 days ago, it was phenomenal.

I climbed with EMS and I think it is $250 for a one-day climb. I did an overnight, wich was a lot more. But they ice axe skills and stuff on the way up, pretty cool.

I climbed with IMCS in N. Conway and they were absolutly great about 175 for 3 of us. thats each of course
