2 pommes

my own & Thomas Merton's
the second poem's pretty good, written by x-tian mystic thomas merton, with that catchy last line.... the first is just a scary nonsensical lullaby about my cats, of the kind sung by mad women in attics to comfort themselves and combat the tedium of a shut-in's existence, since time immemorial. it's the kind of nursery rhyme that makes the kiddies not want to go to sleep!

  • a gem don't hardly ever breath and when found gets plucked and dug from

the tides of time, rare the ones that start to. More common rock does

begin to breath but no soonner do unhumble humans begin scolding it: you

    dirt you soil!

You ae a rare AND breathing gem.

In fact ... could you read a little of my poetry into the camera?

  • @poetpiet i would, but why not read them yourself?

  • ah u are why i like humans, keep being real

  • i like humans too, grin. and i don't know how to be anything but real. even if i'm trying to fake something , i think the truth outs itself to anyone with eyes to see.

  • @poetpiet ... on top of that i did and was shut up from day one .... my vocalizations would make my dad a raging bull more often than not (buffalo year, aries, me gemini dog). I found a nice mike once and lost sight of it, i did a vocal chat once briefly ... hardly ever touch a phone ... got totally people shy. Got enough reasons now?

  • @medicinesocks why not indeed? i was offered upload help by email from canada as far back as the mid eighties but i always have had a difficult relation with tec .. i need it but minimize use .. E-waste horror at the back of my mind ... began with photography waste product awareness early eighties.

  • there are layers and layers of disguise.. you can't always tell, even looking closely at a person you love without his clothes on, what it is he's hiding from you... there are depths and deeper depths of nakedness and honesty.

  • yes, but that is not being naked.. we are all day disguised... and hidden..;)

  • we are??????

    yikes!

  • We're all naked, under these clothes.
