  • mrsfa92 i never said the tune was in G, i said the whistle was in G. I know the tune is in C if you play G fingering on a G whistle. Anyway thanks for the lesson!

  • No probs, its called "The Green Fields of France" lots of versions on youtube. Possibly ythe most famous is The Fureys & Davey Arthur version. Hope this helps?

  • Well horse, that was brilliant. Cant bate the old trad. ceol. You wouldn't happen to know a tune "Lady Gregory" which is also a slow air. Cant seem to find a recording anywhere
