3 Heart Quest Part 1 - Getting Bombs

Here's a walkthrough for beating The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the GBA with ONLY THREE HEARTS. Keep in mind that all of this IS POSSIBLE on the GBA.

Here's Part 1 of the 3 Heart Quest, where you get Bombs early in the game. This involves using the Up Down Exploration Glitch, and reaching Kakariko while it's still raining. The reason why I wanted to get Bombs early is so I could bomb the wall in the sewers to get an easy 300 rupees, which will be used later to pay for the Flippers. Of course, I could have done this any time before getting the Flippers (by using the secret passage in the graveyard), but I wanted to show off the glitch in the first vid.

Since this part isn't in Red Shifter's FAQ, here's my directions for getting to the Northwest Cave in Kakariko:

1) Perform the UDEG in the first left room of the main entrance of Hyrule
Castle.
2) Move left until the screen scrolls.
3) Move up until the screen scrolls.
4) Move right until the screen scrolls.
5) Move up until the screen scrolls twice.
6) Move left until the screen scrolls.
7) Move up until the screen scrolls. You should now be in the cave in the
Northwest part of Kakariko, except it's colored like the Ice Palace. Hop into
the room.

wtf what was tge point of showing this video? everyone knew the shed blows up and its relentless bombs and rupees i thought u were gonna show how to bomb those two cracked walls when u first go threw the castle i can never get bombs before to blow them up,what a waste of time

Hey n00b,

While everyone may know about the infinite bombs in Kakariko Village, did YOU know how to get there this early in the game? Didn't think so. THAT was the point of showing this video.

And if you watch the rest of my videos, you'll see that I DO blow up the cracked walls in the Castle Sewers.

you're playing it on emulator or gba? which emulator do you use? cuz i use visualboy advanced and it's pretty slow :(

But you did this on an emulator, right? Because this backwardswalk-glitch just works on a tastatur.

superbacon807 how did you get the up+down glitch to work on vba? it doesnt more than 2 directions push together

hum i tied it in gba(ds that work but not with up and down...hum so i moon walkand i cant do the glitch my trick it is press R as the same time u enter a door (on the same area) then idk how to do 3 heart quest but ty greenalink i did with 4 heart and beat ganon and four sword easy
