I was also at that gig, I travelled from Lancashire to The Albert Hall just to see him and Matt Churchill perform the whole of Stormcock live, it just may have been his last live concert too! It could have been anyone on the bill, i didn't go to see Joanna Newsom, she wasn't bad, but I don't think I ever want to hear the words pear peach plum, or whatever it was again, :D
she was amazing, roy harper was good but his songs didnt seem to end, i dont think i ever want to hear the words "me and my woman, me and my little woman" ever again..
Wow! I was at that gig! I can't believe you posted it so fast!!! It was a superb gig. the only that comes close was Iron Maiden in 1985, in my personal experience. Roy Harper was good too eh?
