Elvira certainly is a tawdry Vampira imitation!
But Maila Nurmi herself said she based Vampira on Morticia from the original Charles Addams comic strips.

Nope, not Maila Nurmi. But Lisa was good at playing her! And I bet that few people, or no one, who has commented on her boobs, knows that the real Vampira (Maila Nurmi) had to make it look like she had big boobs. In reality, they weren't very big at all. And she also resented women with big bosoms just for that exact reason. But who cares because she was hauntingly beautiful!
