Wow, I have goosebumps. Thanks for uploading this. I watched the show back in 1979, taped it on cassette and listened to it over and over again. Until today, I know every note.

I saw it on color tv... And also recorded it on V2000... Don't know however if I can still replay it...

Where does this recording stem from? As far as I know, WDR (West Deutsche Rundfunk - Wester Germany Broadcasting) has not yet released the footages from this event, due to "legal rights issues" as they put it in an e-mail I received.
So where on earth does this stem from? I find it hard to belive it has been recorded on a VCR back in 1979..
Well, I watched this concert, on a Black & White TV back then in spring '79, and I still regard this one of my most exciting happenings ever.:-))
