@Einstiensblackid Actually even once you get your skis/board off you are 90% likely to die in a tree well unassisted. This is still a good idea, if you cant get your board off you are fucked for sure.

Great idea! I've been bothered by the lack of tree well awareness in the ski/snowboard community lately.
There is simply no reason for people to die in them, all you have to do is free your feet and crawl through the tree and out the downhill side.
spread that trend though, man. It's a lifesaver.
