June 15th, A FD HG & SK Outing.
To find the treasure of Yamashita's Gold.

General Yamashita Tomoyuki (山下 奉文 Yamashita Tomoyuki?, 8 November 1885 - 23 February 1946) was a general of the Japanese Imperial Army during the World War II. He was most famous for conquering the British colonies of Malaya and Singapore, earning the nickname The Tiger of Malaya.

According to popular legend, Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita looted the national treasures of South-east Asian countries which Japan conquered during the early stages of World War II.

Yamashita's gold refers to the supposed billions of dollars in gold that were looted from East and Southeast Asia by Japan during World War II and left behind. Most people believe the reports of gold to be an urban legend, yet there are still many treasure hunters who believe in the stories and comb the countryside in search of the gold. However, some people speculate that the hidden treasure was buried in underneath the Syonan Jinja in Singapore.

Back when Sir Stamford Raffles and our forefathers built Singapore, we believe that they have found the treasure, but they are unable to reveal it back to the East India Company, hence they came together, to devise a way to hide the treasure, placing clues around us.

Clues from our Architecture, monuments even currency, It was hidden by our forefathers with clues to the treasure's location, some of them, right before our eyes.

Artifacts built by our forefathers set clues and maps to unearthing the greatest treasure of Singapore.

Some of WW2's secrets will be revealed, in the 21st century's greatest story never told.

A plot synopsis adapted from National Treasure.
