Cardiff University students occupy to disarm 2009

This short film was made on 25th February as Cardiff University students began their second day locked inside a lecture theatre outraged that their university invests upwards of £200,000 in BAE Systems and General Electric. These are two of the worlds biggest arms manufacturers and major suppliers of weapons used to kill Palestinians in the recent Israeli invasion of Gaza.

I'm confused. You support Hamas which oppresses Gay and woman's rights, has attacked other Palestinians who do not want an Islamic state.

This action was for the Palestinian people - like the students in the video link - who live in constant fear and disruption from ALL the fighting taking place. If universities in the UK are helping fund any weapons manufacturers then they play their part in the continuation of war.
