Hans Jörg Haber: no changes will be made to EUMM format

The Head of the EU Monitoring Mission, Ambassador Hansjörg Haber stated during todays visit to Zugdidi that no changes will be made to the format of UN military observer mission despite of insisted demand of the Abkhazian side.

As previously reported, Abkhazian side insists that the mission is re-entitled as UN mission to Abkhaizia instead of UN mission to Georgia.

Prior Ambassador Hansjörg Haber met Governor of Samegrelo-ZEmo Svaneti Zaza Gorozia, and Head of regional Police Tengiz Gunava. The meeting was attended by the new head of the mission. The sides discussed current situation on the territory of Samegrelo and Abkhazia (Georgias breakaway region and conflict zone).
