Depends if you were aircrew or not...if you were aircrew you do nothing but fly, watch movies and play video games all day. If you were a working rate, you spent your time slaving.

Very true, never seeing the light of day...their living space is like a dungeon. I know because I've been down their lots. Those people are quite a different breed.

ORDNANCE not Ordinance.

Good ol' Truman! Haha! I remember when a squadron ordie DROPPED a "lawn dart". The entire flight deck stopped! That was the scariest few seconds of my life! But the ordies stick together like glue! One of the best rates in the navy (next to AS of course, NASW/OGS).

Did you ever think I might have picked this song for a reason, specifically the last line in the chorus. If you don't like it then don't watch it, its as simple as that.

Its easy to take pics of the weapons when you are in the same room with them for 12 hours a day. Those cargo pockets in the camo pants can hold a decent sized camera without anyone noticing. They are also handy for concealing a book or 2.

I know you all don't think much about ABFs, but without us, there is no launch. Besides, forget the rivalries. Without any of us, we couldn't do any of this period. I've been on HST since November '07. It's nothing great anymore, but I'll probably think differently when I get out in 2012.

I can tell you from experience that you will miss it when you are gone. Its hard to describe how it exactly feels but you will eventually find out. I guess its a mixture of sadness, longing, wishing you had more time, and intense pride.
