False accusations are the coward's fists. Like the nurse who, accused transplant doctor, of murder nearly destroyed his life, acquitted, nothing happened to her. Complaints to HR, agencies or professional boards are gossip poison, no proof is required. Research show people believe gossip over facts. We need accountability. I don't know about the professor and the student, but was the student's complaint gross exaggeration/ lies. Was the professors job in the cross hairs? 2 sides to story?

If someone ever found out you made a false allegation of child abuse, you would be in a very dangerous position. False allegations of abuse destroy the child more than the parents, because it's the child that has to live in foster hell. Think twice.
